But you know what? It doesn’t all have to be doom and gloom and hardship. We have an official, CDC approved way to make your own face mask at home. It’s quick, easy and a fun craft to do with the kids!
Simply follow the steps in this post and in 5 minutes you’ll be ready to responsibly venture out into that uncertain world with one less thing weighing on your mind.
Don’t have a bandana? Check out our fun and colorful selection HERE.
Start by using scissors to cut the bottom off a coffee filter.
Fold your bandana in half and place the filter in the middle.
Fold down the top of the bandana over the filter, then fold up the bottom.
Add hair ties or rubber bands over the ends approximately 6” apart.
Fold the ends of the bandana over the ties and tuck them in.
And Bam! You’ve got yourself your very own DIY COVID 19 mask!
Stay safe and healthy out there! Be sure to stay up to date on the CDC’s guidelines. You can find those here at their website HERE .
