Order Processing Policy
Orders for stock merchandise received by 11 am Monday-Friday will normally be processed and ready to ship within 2 business days of receipt or final approval of substitutions if necessary. For rush orders, or if you must have your order by a specific date, please contact us and we will work to assist you. Shipping time varies with based on your distance from us. The chart below provides approximate shipping time after order is processed to determine when you will receive your order.
Payment Processing Policy
Our on-line invoice will provide you with the merchandise and freight total, however, we do not process your payment until we have a final total after any necessary substitutions and freight calculations have been made. Your invoice will show the final total and a copy of your transaction record will be attached to your packing slip with your order. Please note, it will not show your account information, only your total.
- For orders shipped and billed within the contiguous U.S. we accept: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
We accept paper checks from established account customers. We DO NOT ACCEPT personal checks. If you do not have a Net 30 account with us, but your organization’s only method of payment is by check, we will accept your check, but your order WILL NOT SHIP until the check clears our bank which will delay shipment of your order 7-10 days typically. Please plan accordingly.
- For orders shipped or billed outside the continental U.S. we require payment by PayPal. PayPal is a free, secure, and fast way to send payments worldwide. For more information go to: www.paypal.com. Since these orders will not ship at freight chart rates, we will advise you of the freight and final total by email for your approval prior to shipping. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us by phone 314-991-6818 or 800-991-6818 to check on your order or discuss your need. You will receive a request for payment through PayPal for any additional costs or changes.
- We may extend OPEN ACCOUNT terms to schools, churches and organization customers upon receipt of satisfactory credit information. Corporate Accounts may be established with a minimum initial order of $500 and approved credentials. - We do not ship COD.
- Custom Imprint orders require a 50% deposit and the balance is due upon receipt of goods.
Prices listed are wholesale and FOB our St. Louis warehouse. We will be pleased to quote special prices on large orders i.e. case lots. We may increase or decrease prices consistent with market changes and will ship your order at the best current price unless price confirmations are specifically requested. Our prices are based on selling in multiples of the minimum quantity shown, for example if something is packed 2 dozen, you may only buy in multiples of 2 dozen.
All information you provide us is encrypted to insure your information is safe and secure. Your credit card and check information will not be run on line. Your name and address will never be sold to anyone. American Carnival Mart’s web site contains links to other web sites that are not operated by American Carnival Mart. American Carnival Mart is not responsible for the privacy practices of the web sites that it does not operate.
For the safety of our customers and our team members until the COVID 19 epidemic is no longer a public health threat we will not accept returns of any products.
Sales are final unless return privileges are agreed to at the time of sale. A restocking charge will apply. Food, candy, opened hats, seasonal items, closeouts, and custom imprinted items are not returnable.
Merchandise with return privileges that does not meet your expectations may be returned for credit within five days of receipt. Call us at 1-800-991-6818 or 314-991-6818 for Return Authorization. Merchandise may only be returned in our minimum selling quantities, in the original unmarred packaging suitable for resale. Return freight is your responsibility unless it was our error.
We use GlobalSign SSL encryption technology for a secure transaction. If you prefer not to send your credit card or any other information over the internet, you can call, fax or mail your order to us.
UPS Domestic Freight Chart Rates
We use our freight chart for merchandise shipping in regular size boxes within the contiguous U.S. by UPS Ground for Monday - Friday delivery.

The freight chart is not used in the following cases:
HIGH FREIGHT ITEMS: Items that require oversize boxes (like large stuffed toys and some Easter Eggs) or heavy items (like beads or sand) will not be shipped using the freight chart. These are shipped at our cost, which can be 15%-50% of the value of the merchandise. We will call to advise you before shipping if your cost varies significantly from the freight chart.
OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S.: Our freight chart does not apply to orders shipped outside of the continental U.S. Shipments to Domestic APO Boxes will be made via Priority Mail or ShipItAPO unless you contact us by phone with other instructions. We will quote the shipping costs to you for your approval prior to billing. We bill you at our cost plus a $5 handling charge per carton and applicable insurance. We do not ship to Nigeria.
RUSH ORDERS: Call for rates to ship 2nd Day, NDA, or other methods. We DO NOT ship COD.
We currently do not ship to California or Nigeria. We reserve the right not to ship to anyone at any time with no prior notification.
Shipping by carrier other than UPS
- Orders shipped by any method other than UPS are quoted for your approval.
- Orders shipped to PO Boxes and APO’s ship by Priority Mail or ShipItAPO.
- Order shipped outside the continental U.S. ship by Priority Mail.
- A $5 handling fee per ctn plus insurance will be quoted for orders shipped any method other than UPS GRD.
If you need your order RUSHED to you, contact us by phone 314-991-6818 or 800-991-6818 to discuss your needs. Any method other than UPS GRD may incur additional shipping and handling fees. We will provide you with a quote for approval prior to shipping.
Shipping to APO/PO Boxes
We ship by Priority Mail or ShipItAPO to APO/FPO and U.S. Possessions. You will be quoted based on our cost plus applicable insurance and a handling fee of $5 per package.
Orders outside the U.S. are typically shipped by Priority Mail. You will be quoted a price for your approval which includes shipping fees plus applicable insurance and handling fees of $5 per package. You will be responsible for payment of duties and taxes. We reserve the right not to ship to anyone at anytime without prior notification. We do not ship to Nigeria.

Picking Up Your Order
You are always welcome to pick-up your order at our showroom. Let us know what day and time you will be in to pick-up your order during our regular business hours and we will have it ready for you. It is our policy to make logical substitutions on prize orders as we assume the buyer requires a certain number of prizes for their event. If you do not want us to substitute please advise us when you order. If you prefer we contact you for substitute items please provide a phone number or e-mail address where we may contact you during the day to prevent delaying shipment of your order.
